Controversy on Ae dil hai Mushkil

Ae dil hai mushkil is an Indian Hindi romantic drama film.  Written and directed by Karan Johar is all set to release on 28th October 2016. After all the controversy due to Pakistani actor Fawad Khan's role in this Movie. Earlier Single screen cinema association boycotted.  Then Shiv Sena party threatened the multiplex association not to show the movie.  As it will heart the sentiment of many Indians due to the ongoing disputes between Pakistan and India.

Karan had sent out a video in which he depicts himself as "profoundly hurt" to be called anti-national. Karan additionally demanded that he will "not take artists from Pakistan as it will heart the many Indians" and encouraged everybody to comprehend the sweat and tears of 300 Indians who have taken a shot at the film 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil"

Later on Karan Johar meet with Raj Thackeray and Devendra Fadnavis about the release of his film. It was decided in the meeting that Karan Johar is allowed to show the movie only if below points met.

  1. Need to run a special slate honoring the martyrs before the start of the movie. It's a tribute from us to our soldiers.
  2. Producer's Guild will also contribute to the Army Welfare Fund. "We owe this to the Army" Bhatt said
  3. "I assured Fadnavis that the Producer's Guild has decided that it will not work with Pakistani artistes in the future," Mukesh Bhatt told reporters after the meeting. Source from Times of India
